A Free Gift For You

John Siefker

I have some really Good News to tell you about! It will completely change your life and you will never be the same! It is so amazing!

I want to share with you about a "free gift" that has been given to you. But you have to claim it and receive it.

I know you are wondering how you did not know or hear about it, but just like you, many others have not heard about it either. I also know you may be thinking that nothing is for free in this world today or maybe even you have never received anything for free in your life.

But it is TRUE!

This is the "best and most costly" gift any one could ever receive. I have received this free gift myself and ever since - my life has never been the same. That is why I am sharing this with you.

So what is the free gift for you, who's it from and what is it about?

Well, the free gift to you is from God, the Creator of all things. He gave you eternal life & so much more - but it is only through Jesus. But you have to believe in Him to receive it.

In John 3:16, Jesus said "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Also in Ephesians 2:8-9, He said "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast."

And also God said in Romans 6:23, "For the wages (result) of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

His gift to you is - eternal life! This gift is from God - not because we deserved it, or by anything we have done. He gave it to you because He loves you so very much. More than you can realize or even imagine.

Jesus died on the Cross for your sins and He rose again from the dead - that you may have life - eternal life in Him.  (ref: Rom. 8:34; 1 Cor. 15:3-5; Col. 2:14)

Jesus paid the price in FULL for all of your sins - He took your punishment - which is eternal damnation / eternal torment…being separated from Him for all eternity.

He said in Romans 5:8: "But God commendeth (show, demonstrate) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Jesus gave all, including His life for you - that you might have all. He did this for you and me.

But it is up to you…the choice is yours.

Everything is in Jesus & He is EVERYTHING

This is who Jesus is, what you will receive & what you will experience, if you choose Him:

  • You will feel a weight lift off of you
  • You will feel clean
  • You will be instantly transformed; which is (you will be a new person)
  • You will have & feel peace
  • You will be full of joy
  • You will be set free from all addictions, curses & torments by evil spirits
  • You will be healed - both physically & spiritually
  • You will be saved & have eternal life in Jesus
All of these things will you receive & so much more - but you have to make the choice!

So now I want to ask you:

  • Are you or do you feel depressed?
  • Do you feel hopeless? - Like the world is against you / everything is caving in on you?
  • Is your life in shambles or messed up?
  • How is your heart?
  • How is your soul?
  • Do you have a clean conscience?
  • Are you where you ought to be?
  • Are you following Jesus?
  • Are you ready to meet Jesus?
  • Where are you going to spend eternity?
You know the answers to those questions.

If you are not sure about any of them - you need to find out...

Because:

  • Jesus is Real
  • Heaven is Real
  • Hell is Real
It does not matter if we believe it or not. It is so, just as God has said in His Word.

We all will know one day soon - no matter what…because:

  • Being a good person will not save you
  • Religion will not save you
  • Good deeds or works will not save you  (note only - ref: Rom 3:12; Isa. 64:6)
  • Going to church will not save you
Nothing will save you - only Jesus can; and He will save & forgive you, if you make that choice.

Are you one of the many who desire eternal life and salvation, but the line has been blurred as to what that is? Do you think your life is full of fun and pleasure and you don't need God?

You may think that you are a "good person" by comparing yourself to other people or what good things you are doing or have done in your life.

But in Isaiah 64:6, God said that "…We are all as an unclean thing, and all of our righteousness are as filthy rags."

Also in Ephesians 2:8-9, He said "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast."

So what God is saying to you about all of your works of righteousness or good works is that they are not good and are filthy to Him. But when you compare yourself to Jesus, you will see that you are a vile, wicked and rebellious sinner (apart from forgiveness of sins).

So you may ask, what is sin?   (sins listed - ref: Gal. 5:19-21; Rom. 1:18-32)

Well, here are some things that are sin:

  • Have you ever lied?
  • Have you ever cheated?
  • Have you ever stolen anything?
  • Do you have hatred in your heart towards someone or hate someone?
  • Do you have any unforgiveness in your heart?
  • Have you ever favored an individual  (hold someone in high regard - a form of worship - James 2:9)?
  • Have you ever committed sexual immorality?
  • Have you committed adultery?  (ref: Matt. 5:27-28: Is sin…both in intentions + thoughts, and in carrying it out)
  • Have you ever lusted in your heart?
  • Have you ever envied or coveted your neighbor's or other people's possessions?
  • Have you ever had selfish ambitions?
  • Have you murdered anyone?
  • Do you believe in witchcraft/magic or have done anything with witchcraft/magic?
  • Do you or have you worshiped false gods - gods that you thought were real?  (This is idolatry)
  • Do you purposely drink to get drunk or indulge in drunkenness?
If you have done any one of these, then you have sinned. Therefore you are a sinner. You are a liar, thief, adulterer, greedy and rebellious person.

Jesus said 1 John 3:4, that "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."

He also said in 1 John 5:17 that "All unrighteousness is sin..."

The word 'unrighteousness' means - iniquity, being unjust, doing wrong.

The word 'sin' means - offense, trespass, fault, to violate the law of God.

So no matter what you want to think or believe…Jesus said:

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8

"For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
So now we truly know that we all have sinned and are sinners. But God is merciful; He forgives and He will forgive you, if you repent.

Now I want to ask you:

  • So who is Jesus to you?
  • Who do you think Jesus is?
  • What have you have been taught, even thought or believed about Him?
  • Is the Jesus you claim to know - the Jesus who came and die on the Cross for you?
  • Do You Truly Know Jesus?
  • Or Do You Just Only Really Know About Jesus?  (there is a big difference in knowing Jesus & only knowing of or about Him)
'To know Jesus' means to have a close, personal relationship with Him; which is "talking with Him, being obedient to ALL of His written Word & to ALL that He speaks to you to do."

I know many people will say: "oh - yes, I have said or prayed a prayer in repeating what someone else was saying or praying" but was it from your heart or your head?

But if you truly know Jesus, you will be a transformed person and your life will be completely changed forever. You will be a reflection of Jesus in ALL that you say and do to everyone around you because of your relationship with Him and you knowing Him.

You will not live our life the way you use to, like:

  • doing your own will instead of His Will,
  • doing the things that you use to do or
  • even saying those things that you use to say
- before you repented of your sins & came to know Jesus.

You will not have to say one word to anyone about knowing Jesus - because they will both see and know it.

So again I must ask, "Do you truly know Jesus"?

  • Who or what do you love the most?
  • Do you love the world?
  • Do you love the things of the world?
  • Do you love Jesus?
  • Do you truly love Jesus - more than any things else - not just saying it from your head but from your heart, as your life will reflect it - which are your words and actions?
That is the question. And what is your answer…both to yourself and to Jesus?

You know what it is…He is speaking to you, to your heart - even at this moment.

So the question to you is, "Will the Jesus that was brutally beaten physically, bore all for you and shed His precious blood on the Cross for you be your Christ or will you ignore His call and continue to live in sin?"

Not one of us knows how long we have to live on this earth - but we plan and act like we have all the time in the world - but do we really?

Today - this very moment, this is the only time that you have.

Right now, Jesus is asking you:

Are you going to choose to follow Jesus or are you going to continue to do your own thing and live your life as you see fit?

You can not choose both - you can only choose to do one or the other. We all need Jesus - but the decision is yours!!

Jesus said in John 3:7 that "…you must be born again."

Jesus is calling you right now - at this very moment - to come to Him: and repent, turn & follow Him.

  • If you don't know Jesus - than you need to make that choice….
  • If you are not sure that you truly know Jesus - than you need to make sure……
  • Is your heart right with God?
  • If you truly know Jesus, I encourage you to "Stay Close To Jesus"!
Because the time is short…Jesus is coming soon!!!!!!

Jesus said in Hebrews 3:15: "While it is said, To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts..."

And He also said in 2 Corinthians 6:2: "…Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

Today is the day…the day of your salvation…the day for your healing - both spiritually & physically…the day for your deliverance - to be set free… (ref: Heb. 3:7, 13, 15; 4:7;)

Jesus bore all of your sins on the Cross…He paid the price - the ultimate price for you…

It says in Isaiah 53:4-6 that:

"Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted,

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. (vs. 5)

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all." (vs. 6)
Jesus went through everything for you…He died for you…that you might be saved, have eternal life, be set free & be healed…Jesus did it all for you!

He said in 1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

So right now:

  • if Jesus is speaking to you,
  • if you are feeling the conviction of the Holy Spirit,
  • if you are feeling your heart being pricked
No matter where you are…Jesus is calling…do you hear Him?

Right now…..as you believe in your heart - not in your mind…but out of your contrite and broken heart…

Cry out to Jesus…confess & repent of your sins…ask Jesus to forgive you…and Jesus will forgive you & cleanse you from all your sins…Jesus will heal you both physically & spiritually…Jesus will set you free: from all curses, from all addictions, from all the power of the enemy…

Ask Jesus to baptize you and fill you with His Holy Spirit…and believe & receive the immediate infilling of the Holy Spirit…and He will do all of these things…and give thanks to Jesus for what He has just done for you.

You now are free…

You will feel His Presence, peace, joy, love, feel free and clean…and so much more, even have eternal life! You cannot begin to describe it. But I know what you are feeling because I too have been there and even still today I feel it.

This is who Jesus says that you are now:

  • You now are a new spiritual creation - a new person in Jesus; you have become "born of the Spirit", you have been "born again". (2 Cor. 5:17; Jn. 3:5-7)

  • You will have a clean conscience - no guilt or condemnation. (Rom. 8:1; 1 John 3:21-22)

  • His Spirit dwells in you. (Rom. 8:10-11; 1 Cor. 3:16, 6:19; 2 Cor. 6:16; Col.1:27; 1 Jn. 4:15)

  • You are now a child (son & daughter) of God. (Rom. 8:14, 16-17; Gal. 3:26, 4:6-7; 2 Cor. 6:18)

  • You are an ambassador for Jesus. (2 Cor. 5:20)

  • You are His witness. (Acts 1:8)

Now the next thing you need to do is:

You need to be baptized in water - as soon as possible - by a believer of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said in Mark 16:16: "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved…"

Jesus also said in Acts 2:38: "…Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

*It is very important - that you are baptized in the Name of Jesus!

Jesus has another gift for you to receive

Then Jesus said that you will receive another gift - the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Which you see again in Acts 2:38: "…Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

The precious Holy Spirit is the power of God - Who enables you to do all that He commands you to do both in His written and spoken Word, for His Glory.

It says in Micah 3:8: "But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD..."

And then Jesus said in Acts 1:8: "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

*Note: You are filled & baptized with His Spirit - the precious Holy Spirit.  (ref. Matt. 3:11; Luke. 3:16, 24:49; John 20:22; Acts 2:38-39)

When you receive this gift from God, you will be endued with power from on High…which is the power of God…to do all that He tells you to do.

Some other things that you will need to do

One thing that you will need and want to do - each & every day, even through out the day…is to have fellowship (talk & listen) with the Lord, as He is your Heavenly Father.

And beside that, you need to:

  • Spend time with Him…

  • Pray (talk with Him as you would talk with another person: like thanking Him for everything - asking Him things - tell Him things that are on your heart - anything)…listen to what He speaks to you (as in a conversation with a person - listen)

  • Read His Word…meditate upon it…study His Word…ask the Holy Spirit to teach you & to give you understanding of His Word…

  • Do everything He tells to you both in His written Word & His spoken Word (do everything exactly when, where & how He tells you - not what you think or want to do - do nothing more & nothing less)
Jesus is with you always by His Holy Spirit and He is everything to you. Jesus wants you to know Him more and this only comes by spending time with Him, as you would do to know any one else.

Also you will want to find and meet other believers and have fellowship with them - as you are now part of His church - His Body.

You and other believers - the children of God are the church - the True Church (Eph. 5:23-25, 30; Col.1:18).

What many people call the church today is nothing more than a building - a building built with man's hand - but you are the temple, the tabernacle of the Most High - who is Jesus (1 Cor. 3:16-17, 6:19; 2 Cor. 5:1, 6:16).

Jesus dwells in you - He does not dwell or live in a building - Jesus lives in you.

Another thing that you will want to do and should is to "tell others about what Jesus has done for you & to tell others that don't know about the free gift that He wants them to have.

Jesus said in Matthew 10:8: "…Freely ye have received, freely give."

Jesus also commanded us to go and share this with everyone and He has sent us (commissioned us) to do this, as He has said in His written Word.

Jesus said in John 20:21: "…As my Father hath sent Me, even so send I you."  (ref: John 17:18; Matt. 28:18-20)

You do not need any one to send you because Jesus already has. From the moment that you made the decision to serve and follow Jesus, He also gave you His marching orders to do His work.

When the Lord tells you to do something - He also gives you the tools to do it.

Jesus has given you the power and authority…to do all that He has commanded you to do in His Word.
 (ref: Mark 3:14-15, 6:7; Luke 9:1-2, 10:9, 19)

In Luke 9:1-2, Jesus said:

"Then He called his twelve disciples together (He called you - you are His Disciple), and gave them (you) power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

And He sent them (you) to preach the kingdom of God (the Good News - about Him), and to heal the sick."
The power and authority that Jesus has given to you - is in His Name.

That name is - JESUS. The Lord said in Philippians 2:9-10:

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name:

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth." (vs. 10)
Also is Colossians 3:17, He said: "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him."

Now that you both read and heard…the power and authority that He has given to you is in His Name…that Name is "JESUS".

With all that has been said so far, Jesus has also given you further instructions.

These instructions are:

  • who to go to,
  • what to do, and
  • how to do it
Here is what Jesus said in Matthew 10:6-8:

"But go rather to the lost...

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. (vs. 7)

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give." (vs. 8)
Also in Mark 16:15, 17-18, Jesus said:

"And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; (vs. 17)

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (vs. 18)
Jesus also then said in Luke 14:21, 23:

"…Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in…"

"…Go out into the highways and hedges, compel them to come…" (vs. 23)
     (ref: Matt. 22:9)
Now that you know what Jesus wants you to go and do - it is now up to you to be obedient to Him.

Jesus is your example. Just as it was written in His Word about Jesus and what He did, it also applies to you:

In Isaiah 61:1-2:

    "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn." (vs. 2)
Again also in Luke 4:18-19:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord." (vs. 19)

Now you must go and do what the Lord has spoken and showed you in His Word. Be faithful to Jesus and keep His commandments, His Word…

  • Don't get caught up with anything that is not Jesus or anything that is not in His Word.
  • Don't get caught up in man's doctrine or traditions - it will do you much harm spiritually.
  • Don't let any man deceive you.
  • Always and ONLY look to Jesus - not man.
Guard what you have - which is Jesus Who is everything - guard it with your life like you would with any of your children. He is precious - nothing in this world can compare to Him.

Satan will try to tempt you and he will try to deceive you - but do not give in to him.

Jesus said in James 4:7, "…Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

You must choose not to do those things that He has saved you from. Live a life of holiness and without blame before Him as the Lord has chosen you before the foundation of the world.  (ref: Eph. 1:4; 1 Pet. 1:16)

We are to abstain from sin, from doing anything that is against God and His Word.

Just as the Lord said in 1 John 5:18: "We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not."

God's grace is not a license to sin. (ref: Matt. 10:22, 19:17; 1 Thess. 5:27) You must live a life of obedience to His Word.

Just as Jesus said to the impotent man that He healed, in John 5:1-15 and to the woman in adultery that He forgave, in John 8:1-11; Jesus also says to you "Go and sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto you."

The Lord also said in Hebrews 10:26: "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins."  (ref: Heb. 12:16-17)

Always stay close to Jesus and follow Him.

Jesus is always with you (Mat. 28:20) and He will never leave or forsake you (Heb. 13:5).

Just as Jesus said in Matthew 10:22: "…But he that endureth to the end shall be saved." Let us too finish strong & not give up. (ref: 1 Cor. 9:24; 2 Tim. 4:7)

If we never get to meet each other on this earth - I hope to see you on the other side - in Heaven with Jesus!
