Jesus "LOVES" you and He has a wonderful plan for your life.
GOD'S LOVE
"For God so loved the world, thet He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
GOD'S PLAN
Jesus said..."I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (that it might be full and meaningful). (John 10:10)
Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.
MAN IS SINFUL
"For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
MAN IS SEPARATED
"For the wages (result) of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
Jeus Christ is God's ONLY provision for Man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.
JESUS DIED IN OUR PLACE
"But God commendeth (demonstrates) His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
HE AROSE FROM THE DEAD
"...Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He rose again the third day, according to the scriptures...He was seen of the twleve..." (1 Corinthians 15:3-5)
HE IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD
"Jesus saith...I am the way, the truth, the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." (John 14:6)
We must individually RECIEVE Jesus Christ as our Saviour and Lord. Then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.
WE MUST RECEIVE CHRIST
"But as many as received Him, to them gave He power (right) to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12)
WE RECEIVE CHRIST THROUGH FAITH
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
WHEN WE RECEIVE CHRIST, WE EXPERIENCE A NEW BIRTH
"Therefore if any man be in (receive) Christ, he is a new creature (person): old things are passed away; and behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17) "Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:4)
WE RECEIVE CHRIST BY PERSONAL INVITATION
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him..." (Revelations 3:20)
WE RECEIVE JESUS BY CONFESSING HIM
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:9,10,13)
You can RECEIVE CHRIST right now by faith through prayer.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, I need You. I believe on Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I believe You died for all my sins and that Your precious blood was shed for me. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. I open the door of my life, I ask You to come into my heart. I accept and receive You, now, as my Lord and Saviour. I am a new man (person) and I will serve You from this day forward. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Amen!
